Product Introduction: Polyanionic Cellulose
CAS: 9004-32-4
HS Code: 39129000
EINECS: 900-432-4
Other Names: Poly Anionic Cellulose, PAC HV, PAC LV, PAC R, filtration reducer, cellulose polymer, drilling grade PAC.
Hosea Chem® PAC (drilling grade) and CMC offer advantages such as: low dosage with high efficiency; excellent salt tolerance; antibacterial properties and ease of use; fluid loss reduction and viscosity improvement; strong flow control and excellent particle suspension; environmentally friendly, non-toxic, harmless, and odorless; and good mobility, convenient for application.
Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC) and Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) are widely used in oil drilling fluids and well completion fluids. In drilling fluids, they act as viscosifiers, flow controllers, and filtration reducers with strong particle suspension capability, high cuttings transport efficiency, hole cleaning, wellbore stabilization, prevention of mud loss, drill bit protection, and reduction of mud cake thickness. In well completion fluids, they help adjust viscosity, suspend weighting materials, carry proppants, and prevent fluid loss. Additionally, they can substitute guar gum in fracturing fluids.

Applications of Polyanionic Cellulose
Oil Drilling Fluids: Used as viscosifier, filtration reducer, and wellbore stabilizer to protect drill bits and improve drilling efficiency.
Well Completion Fluids: Adjusts viscosity, suspends weighting agents, prevents fluid loss, and transports proppants.
Fracturing Fluids: Can replace guar gum to enhance fracturing efficiency in oil and gas extraction.
Other Industries: Used in paper production, cosmetics, food, water treatment, and other polymer products due to its antibacterial properties, salt tolerance, and environmental friendliness.
